1. In 2005, following a request from Alun Michael, then Minister for Rural Affairs and Local Environmental Quality, the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution (RCEP) published a report on the assessment of human health risks associated with the use of agricultural pesticides. The report set out concerns of the RCEP regarding the exposure of bystanders and residents to agricultural pesticides.
